Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the foundational approaches I use in my practice to help clients address and overcome emotional and behavioral challenges. With a focus on identifying and changing unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior, CBT empowers individuals to gain a deeper understanding of how their thoughts, feelings, and actions are interconnected. Throughout my career, I have successfully utilized CBT with children, adolescents, and young adults to manage issues ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral and conduct problems.
One of the key elements of CBT that resonates with me—and with my clients—is its practical, solution-focused nature. Over the years, I have seen firsthand how CBT can lead to meaningful, long-lasting changes by providing clients with tools to challenge distorted thinking, reframe negative beliefs, and build healthier habits. My experience in implementing CBT has allowed me to help clients not only reduce symptoms of distress but also achieve greater resilience, improved self-awareness, and an enhanced ability to cope with life’s stresses. By integrating CBT with my other therapeutic approaches, I strive to offer comprehensive care that fosters growth, healing, and empowerment.
